Responsible Gaming Day (RGD) provides an opportunity for interested stakeholders to participate in a fact-based discussion around best practices for responsible gaming and betting in the EU. Previous events have brought together senior EU and national officials, representatives from the public and private gaming sector, academia and civil society.
This year will be the third edition of RGD. The first edition in 2008 took a broad look at issues facing the sector. In 2009, RGD looked at “Integrity and Sport”. Our choice of topic this year reflects the many changes in the EU policy environment since our last event, such as the Digital Agenda and the announcement of a Green Paper for the gambling sector. Our programme will seek to generate an informed and vibrant discussion that will make a real contribution to the policy discussions affecting our sector across Europe.
Unlike previous years, RGD III will run for a half day, allowing more participants more room to combine attendance with their additional responsibilities.
More information about previous RGD can be found in the Links and Downloads sections of this site.
